Day 01 : Arrive Cochin

Arrive by international flight, after traditional 'Swagat' (Welcome) our representative would assist you at airport & transfer to hotel for check in.

Cochin always had a very popular & historical sea trade connection with Middle East, Mediterranean Europe, Dutch & British. It has one of the finest natural harbors on the Arabian coastline.

Rest of the day will at leisure or free for personal activities. Evening you will enjoy Kerala's most popular traditional classical dance Kathakali

Day 02: Cochin – Munnar (140 km/ 4 hrs)

Morning after breakfast you will do half day city tour of Cochin which includes St. Francis' Church, Dutch Palace (Built by the Portuguese), Jew Town, the Jewish Synagogue built in the year 1568, spice market, where the air is filled with the pungent smell of spices, and Chinese fishing nets.

Later you will drive to Munnar.

Munnar is one of the most famous hill stations; Munnar is located at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala.

Day 03: Munnar

Morning after breakfast you will do the half-day tour of Munnar, visiting the world's highest tea estates spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, Lush green hills all around - a place to be seen to be believed, and Eravikulam National Park (Park is closed in the month of January and February), the best place to see the Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goat). Rest of the day at leisure or free for personal activities.

Day 04: Drive Munnar - Periyar (150 kms. - Approx 4 hrs.)

Morning after breakfast you will drive to Periyar Wildlife Reserve. Set on an attractive lakeside, it is South India's most popular Wildlife Sanctuary. Periyar is a place to cruise on the lake & gives an opportunity to see wildlife.

Day 05: Drive Periyar - Kumarakom (140 Kms. - Approx. 3.5 hrs.)

Morning, we will take you for an Elephant safari in Periyar, followed by Spice Plantation tour & Boat ride on Periyar Lake.

Later proceed for Kottayam and upon arrival you will check-in hotel.

Kumarakom, the famous backwater tourist destination in Kerala is located in the district of Kottayam. This place can be reached through a voyage from Alappuzha. Kumarakom is undoubtedly the most invigorating, fascinating paradise in Kerala, God's own country.

Day 06: Kumarakom – Alleppey by Houseboat

Morning after breakfast you will visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. There are two periods for birds: between October & February there are cormorants, teals, & other ducks & from February to July there are darters (snake birds), night herons, egrets, & Siberian storks. It also has golden backed woodpecker, crow pheasant, white-breasted etc.

Later you will be transferred to the jetty. Upon arrival you will check in to houseboat, locally called Kettuvallam, This Lake gives the delightful experience to the tourists. This lake is the best place where you can relax your mind and body. While the water gives the place a cooling effect, trees and shrubs act as a respite to the parched eyes. While seniors can laze around the lake reading a book or talking, youngsters can opt for fishing and boating.

Later you will move towards Alleppey through backwaters to experience the routine life of the villagers along the backwaters.

Day 07: Arrive Alleppey - Kovalam (175 kms. - Approx 4 hrs.)

This morning you will get off houseboat at Alleppey and will drive to Kovalam, en route visit Trivandrum, the Padmanabha Swami Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu is held sacred by the Hindus from antiquity.

Later you will visit Napier Museum: This 19th century structure displays a rare collection of archaeological artifacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings.

Sri Chitra Art Gallery, an exceptional collection of Indian art with examples from early to modern schools. Paintings by Raja Ravi Varma & works from Mughal & Rajput miniature paintings & Tanjore paintings embellished with semi- precious stones are displayed there. Later you will also visit the beautiful Horsu Palace.

Continue your drive to Kovalam located at the most Southern part of India and known for its beaches. There are two main beaches at Kovalam, separated by a high cliff. It is finding a new significance in the light of several Ayurvedic salons, & recuperation & regeneration resorts which provide a slew of Ayurvedic.

Day 10: Kovalam – Trivandrum (16 km - 30 Minutes)

Day will be at leisure or free for personal activities, later on time we will arrange your transfer to Trivandrum Airport to board your flight for your onward destination with some sweet memories of your India Trip.
